Since 2015, Avis Bora Bora has been the first electric Fun Car rental company in French Polynesia. Our vehicles are powered by solar energy generated from our 50 photovoltaic panels installed at our two locations in Vaitape and Matira.

Driving an Eli Zero or an E-Moke along Bora Bora’s coastal road lets you fully enjoy the sounds of the lagoon, birds, and the wind in the palm trees. A unique experience you won’t find in a traditional car.
2. Eli Zero Plus – side-by-side seating with air conditioning
The Eli Zero seats two passengers side by side, making the experience far more enjoyable than tandem seating. Air conditioning is a real bonus under the Polynesian sun! Plus, with a top speed of 45 km/h, it can be rented without a driver’s license. Perfect for young travelers or those without an international license.
3. The convertible E-Moke
The E-Moke requires a standard driver’s license. It offers 4 seats, allowing you to share a unique experience with others—hair in the wind for even more fun!
4. 100% solar-powered
In Bora Bora, electricity from the grid is generated by fuel-powered generators. Our solar-charged vehicles have a truly positive carbon footprint: we produce around 16,500 kWh per year for only 7,000 kWh consumed.

Our Fun Cars can park anywhere, consume almost nothing, and bring smiles to everyone you meet. They are truly Bora Bora’s most Instagram-worthy icons!
